Zebra Finch Pair Canvas Print

A normal (ordinary) pair of Zebra Finches (hen/girl in the front; cock/male in the rear). As with most birds, the males always have "fancier" plumage. Here, the male has bright orange cheek spots which the hen finds very attractive.

My photography depicts the majestic nature of the great outdoors. Whether hiking a trail or waiting patiently for an eagle sighting, there is a serenity in living in the moment. Through my landscape and nature images, away from the hustle-bustle of every day life, I am able to focus on that particular moment in time. Back home reviewing the photos taken, I use modern day technology to make decisions on what photos best express that exact feeling remembered on that hiking trail or mountain side. It could be the calm breeze felt over a vast meadow or the dramatic gusts of an oncoming storm. It is this sense of presence that I try to convey through my photography.
